Solar systems can be useful when water is needed in rural areas. For many, Solar is a great alternative to standard power or windmills.
Multiple Uses
Solar systems can have many different configurations. Many use it for watering livestock and pump directly into a pond or trough, some use it to protect fish in a stock pond by keeping the water level up, while others pump into a storage tank for a reserve when large amounts of water are needed. Proper Installation
Proper installation is a major concern, especially due to the fact that most solar systems are in areas rarely visited. Livestock, high winds and precipitation can cause unwanted issues. Having proper electrical enclosures, sturdy anchors for the panels, wire routing, angle and tilt of the panels themselves to ensure adequate sunlight and more are important factors to consider when installing a system.
